Applies to the Questz mobile application and related services (the “App” / “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how Techysium India Pvt. Ltd. (“Questz”, “Techysium” “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the App. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who Questz is for
Questz is a rewards platform that lets users convert everyday lifestyle spending into in-game value. You earn a platform reward currency called Coin through eligible purchases and redeem it for in-game currencies and items across supported games.
The App is intended only for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or provide personal information. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it.
2. Information we collect
A) Information you provide during sign-up and onboarding
Account details: name, email address, mobile number, and password / authentication credentials.
Profile and preference data: date of birth or age, gender, brand preferences, game preferences, and your favourite content creators, streamers, or influencers.
Communications you send us (support requests, feedback, survey responses).
We use this preference data to show you relevant Shopping Quests and Free Roam offers, and to power the reward experience.
B) Transaction and reward information
Records of eligible purchases made through the Services (e.g. gift card / voucher purchases), including amount, merchant / brand, and date.
Your Coin balance, earnings, Quest progress, and redemption history.
Game account identifiers you provide so we can deliver redeemed in-game currency or items (e.g. a game user ID or linked game account reference).
C) Financial and payment information
When you purchase gift cards or other eligible products through the App, your payment is processed by third-party payment processors and gift card / voucher providers. Depending on the payment method you choose, we and/or our processors may collect the details necessary to complete and reconcile your transaction. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems; card data is handled by PCI-DSS–compliant payment processors.
D) Information collected automatically
Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, language, and time zone.
Advertising and analytics identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID (GAID), used for attribution, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Usage data: screens viewed, features used, Quests started / completed, session activity, and interaction events.
Approximate location derived from IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location unless you separately grant permission).
Diagnostic data: crash logs and performance data.
E) Information from third parties
Confirmation of purchases and reward eligibility from gift card / voucher providers, affiliate networks, and payment processors.
Fraud, risk, and identity-verification signals from our compliance and security providers.
Referral and attribution data from creators / influencers or marketing partners when you join or complete a Quest via their referral.
3. How we use your information
Create and manage your account and deliver the core reward experience (earning Coin, completing Quests, redeeming for in-game value).
Process transactions, calculate and credit rewards, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims.
Personalise the offers, Quests, and content you see based on your stated preferences.
Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
Measure and report campaign performance to brand partners (in aggregated or de-identified form — see Section 4).
Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and financial-services obligations.
Improve and develop the Services, including analytics and product research.
Send you service, transactional, and (where permitted) marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

All service providers and partners are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where required by law, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Services); your consent (e.g. for certain marketing or optional data); our legitimate interests (e.g. security, fraud prevention, product improvement); and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. We retain certain records for longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and other frameworks where we operate), you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your data (see Section 8).
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Object to or restrict certain processing and opt out of marketing.
Request portability of certain data, where applicable.
Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, where the law provides for this.

8. Account and data deletion
ou can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by:
Using the in-app option: Settings → Account → Delete Account
On verification, we will delete your account and personal data, except information we are required or permitted to retain by law (for example, transaction records needed for financial, tax, or anti-fraud compliance), which we retain only for as long as necessary and then delete.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect your information including encryption in transit, access controls, and use of PCI-DSS–compliant processors for payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
10. International data transfers
Questz operates across multiple regions, including India and the UAE (Dubai International Financial Centre), with further markets planned. Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law to protect it.
11. Advertising and analytics
We use analytics and attribution tools to understand how the App is used and to measure reward and campaign performance. These may use device and advertising identifiers. You can limit ad tracking through your device settings (for example, by resetting or opting out of your Android Advertising ID).
12. Third-party links and services
The App may link to brand stores, games, or partner websites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties; please review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
